The highly interdisciplinary work in our lab aims to identify novel chemotypes with potential biological application in various cancers and infectious diseases. The ongoing projects are focused on discovering small molecule agents targeting triple negative breast cancer, lung cancer and influenza viruses.

 

For prospective students:

• We look for highly motivated candidates to join our group for pursuing PhD in the field of drug discovery. Must be interested in interdisciplinary research.

• Current requirement is for 1 student with hands-on experience in heterocyclic synthesis. Interested students with external fellowship like CSIR NET may directly email Dr. Lakkaniga.

• There are no vacancies for institute funded JRFs.

• We do not take winter interns. Please don't email asking for winter internship.
